On my trip to Amman last week, I was invited to attend the mourning ceremony for Judge Raed Zeiter.  While most of the articles mention that he allegedly tried to take a soldier’s gun, the surveillance cameras were mysteriously not working at the time of the shooting.  While most of the articles mention that he is survived by his family including a son in a coma, I was told that he was going to Palestine to gather some funds to pay hospital bills for his son back in Amman.

Here is coverage from The Guardian, CNN, New York Times and Al Jazeera.
